The Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka (SOSL) proudly presented the Junior Symphony Orchestra in concert on 3rd December 2024 at the Lionel Wendt Arts Centre. The concert brought together talented young musicians between the ages of 11 and 25 from various schools, universities, and regions across the island, reflecting the unifying and empowering nature of music.
The students presented a diverse and challenging musical programme that highlighted their dedication, progress in orchestral performance, and interpretation of different musical styles and periods. The event served as an inspiring platform for nurturing and showcasing the talents of the younger generation in the field of classical music.
