The medical professionals of the Kethumathi Maternity Hospital, Panadura contacted the Trust requesting patient handling trolleys for its Intensive Care Unit to transfer patients from the ICU to the ward. They specifically required four existing trolleys to be repaired and one new trolley. The Trust provided financial assistance for this. The Brotherhood for Humanity (BFH) volunteer group implemented the project liaising with the relevant personnel from the hospital, repair workshop and the supplier organization.
