Replacing special purpose batteries in the hearing aid is a considerable cost. Children with hearing impairments have appealed to the Trust for assistance with the replacement of the batteries of their hearing aid. The Trust where possible provide assistance by purchasing the batteries for their hearing aid provided it is with a recommendation from a medical consultant and other supporting of their financial status .
