Weeravikum Primary School is a rural school in Warapitiya village, Pallekelle Educational division, Kandy District in Central Province. There are 100 students in this school.
A team from Brotherhood for Humanity representing University of Moratuwa, and two members from MAS Contour factory, Pallekale (Ms Jenise and Mr Pradeep) visited the school as an inspection visit for the reconstruction of Washroom facilities on 23rd February 2023. Although most of the toilets are in extremely bad condition, a few are currently in use since school is held continuously. The main aspect of this project was to help more than hundreds of students to spend their school days comfortably and do their studies well. Further, some land layouts should be changed to make a student-friendly environment since the available space has been unnecessarily used to cultivate.
