Many families in the Western Province were affected by floods due to heavy rain in June 2024 and Brotherhood for Humanity (BFH) took immediate steps to distribute relief items to the displaced and affected communities due to floods in the Matugama area. They have contacted the disaster relief authorities and have been allowed to distribute items in several inundated areas. There was a severe drinking water requirement and items like biscuits and sanitary items were also needed. The Trust joined hands with the BFH in this noble deed and provided funding to cover the entire cost of this activity.
