Project Overview

A 29-year-old patient, was diagnosed with Mixed-Phenotype Acute Leukaemia following clinical and laboratory evaluations. Upon medical advice, he was recommended to undergo an elective bone marrow transplant under the care of Dr. Pradeep Siriwarden, Consultant Haemato-Oncologist. He was subsequently registered for treatment at Nawaloka Hospitals PLC.

At the time of diagnosis though he was employed, he was compelled to discontinue his employment due to his deteriorating health condition. In light of the financial burden associated with the required medical procedure, his mother, submitted an appeal seeking financial assistance.

In response to this request, the Tennyson & Vinitha Rodrigo Trust extended its support towards facilitating the necessary treatment, as part of its ongoing commitment to assisting individuals in need of critical medical care.
