Project Overview

A seven year old boy from Kurunagala, who was diagnosed with a serious cardiac condition and underwent a series of critical medical interventions in 2025. His initial heart surgery was successfully performed in February 2025 at MIOT Hospital, India, resulting in a significant improvement in his condition.

Following further medical evaluations, a second and final surgical procedure was recommended as an essential step towards complete recovery. Based on medical advice, the boy was scheduled to undergo this procedure in December 2025 in India.

The child’s father is employed as a supervisor at a confectionary company, while his mother is a housewife. The family faced considerable financial challenges in meeting the costs associated with overseas treatment, including surgery and related expenses. Despite their efforts to arrange the necessary funds, additional support was required to proceed with the treatment without delay.

In response to the appeal received, the Trust extended its assistance for both surgeries to support the continuation of the child’s treatment. This support helped ensure that the required medical procedures were successfully completed, contributing significantly to the child’s recovery and overall wellbeing.
