A 15-year-old boy has been the breadwinner of a family in Akkaraipattu and he had been diagnosed with bone cancer. As a result, he had been prescribed to undergo knee replacement surgery. With the confirmation of the medical specialist that provided treatment to the boy, the Trust provided assistance for the surgery and the prosthetic.
