In 2021 an infant girl from Kegalle, Lithusmi required a liver transplant ideally before the completion of one year. The Trust assisted this family to raise Rs. 10,000,000 for liver transplant surgery at the Rela Institute, Chennai, India. The patient’s mother donated 30% of her liver and the transplant was a complete success. The family keeps the Trust informed of the post surgery recovery on a regular basis.
